Jonathan Isaac Saddled With Foul Trouble In Season Opener
Jonathan Isaac takes a significant jump forward as it pertains to his role with the franchise. He didn’t get off to a tremendous start during Wednesday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, playing just 24 minutes due to foul trouble. In his time on the floor, he logged three points on 1-for-3 shooting, but did manage to grab eight rebounds, adding two assists and two blocks. If owners can take any solace out of the performance, it may be that his DFS price dips significantly enough ahead of Saturday’s matchup with Atlanta that he’ll be a cheaper commodity to slot in for what should be a high-scoring affair.

Jonathan Isaac Downgraded To Questionable On Friday
Jonathan Isaac (illness) has been downgraded to questionable for Friday's matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies. Isaac could miss the second leg of a back-to-back due to an illness after posting two points and one rebound in 11 minutes of work against Atlanta on Thursday. If Isaac is on the shelf, Jett Howard and Tristan da Silva will likely see expanded roles in Orlando's rotation this evening.

Jonathan Isaac Downgraded To Out Versus Hornets
Jonathan Isaac (back) is unavailable for Wednesday's matchup with the Charlotte Hornets. Isaac carried a questionable tag earlier but has since been downgraded to out for the contest. Wednesday's game will be the first the 27-year-old has missed since December 10th. With Isaac sidelined, it gives some of the Magic's younger players a chance step up like Caleb Houstan and Jett Howard. However, both players should not be seen as a viable fantasy option for tonight's game.

Jonathan Isaac Is Expected To Play Thursday
Jonathan Isaac (illness) had to leave Tuesday's game with an illness and was slapped with a questionable tag for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers. Coach Jamahl Mosley said that Isaac will be "able to go tonight" when talking to reporters after shootaround, although Isaac is still officially listed as questionable. Isaac is averaging 6.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 16.4 minutes per game coming off the Magic bench, and he appears ready to resume his regular role now that the illness is behind him, according to Mosley.

Jonathan Isaac Won't Return On Tuesday
Jonathan Isaac (illness) has been ruled out for the rest of Tuesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Isaac was questionable coming into this game due to an illness, but he ultimately decided to suit up. He only managed to play about five minutes before exiting the contest due to this illness. The Magic have ruled him out for the rest of the night, which is a bummer for anyone who started him in fantasy leagues. Trevelin Queen and Wendell Carter Jr. figure to see an increased roles for the rest of the game and possibly longer if Isaac misses more time.
