Jonathan Isaac Impresses Against Nets In Summer League
6 years agoOrlando Magic power forward Jonathan Isaac scored 20 points on 7-for-17 shooting and added in seven rebounds in Friday's Summer League victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Isaac, who played just 27 games and averaged 5.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game during his rookie season while dealing with an ankle issue, is projected to be the primary backup to Aaron Gordon this season. His ability to step out to the three-point line, which wasn't on display during Friday's 0-for-3 mark from deep, and rebound the balls gives him versatility for the Magic, but he doesn't currently appear to be a good fantasy option.
