1 year agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (heel) was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Dodgers due to left heel pain. He has started at second base in eight of the last 10 games. It's unclear when India sustained the heel injury; he is considered day-to-day. The 26-year-old is slashing .251/.336/.409 with 14 home runs, 52 RBI, 68 runs, and 12 stolen bases over 453 plate appearances in 2023. India's next chance to return to the lineup will be Sunday for the series finale against the Dodgers.
