2 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (thigh) is back in the starting lineup for Monday night's game against left-hander Trevor Rogers and the Miami Marlins. He'll be hitting out of his usual leadoff spot and slotting in as the team's designated hitter. India was scratched from Sunday's lineup as he was dealing with a left thigh contusion. He suffered the injury while sliding into home plate during Saturday's contest. Injuries have plagued the 25-year-old during his sophomore season in the majors. He's managed to play in just 42 games while slashing .227/.292/.356.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
