Jonathan Holder Remains A Menace Out Of Bullpen
6 years agoThe New York Yankees bullpen is arguably their strongest weapon, right up there with their fear-inducing offense. While Dellin Betances is currently the class of the unit, not far behind is Jonathan Holder. The 25-year-old tossed 2 1/3 perfect innings Wednesday night, striking out two along the way. That makes 20 consecutive appearances without an earned run, a stretch that dates back to the beginning of April. During the streak, he’s tossed 22 innings, allowing only nine hits and three walks while striking out 21. While ultimately not meaning much in terms of fantasy stats, as he only has four holds and is out of the closer picture, he remains a consistent stopper that piles up scoreless outings.
