5 years agoNew York Giants running back Jonathan Hilliman seemed set to make his first NFL start on Thursday against the Patriots once Saquon Barkley (ankle) was ruled out. Now it seems as though the Giants may split those snaps between him and converted fullback Elijhaa Penny, who ran better than Hilliman last week. Regardless of who receives the most carries, it's likely to be a split backfield on the road against the Patriots in a game where the Giants should be down. It's best to avoid both options unless you're desperate.--Eric Samulski
