Jonathan Drouin Scores In Overtime
6 years agoMontreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin scored his 15th goal of the season on Sunday, netting a 4-3 overtime winner against Edmonton. Drouin also picked up a power-play assist on a Shea Weber goal. Max Domi finished the game with a goal and an assist as well. Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid led the charge for Edmonton with the German scoring twice. Carey Price had 21 saves to pick up his fifth consecutive win. Drouin made a slow start to 2019, but he's now got five points in the last six games. Andrew Shaw (neck) looks set to return this week, which will be a big boost to Drouin and Domi, who formed an excellent line with the former Blackhawk before he got injured five weeks ago.
