Jonathan Drouin Enters Canadiens Lineup
2 years agoMontreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin will make his season debut on Saturday against Washington after missing the team's first two games as a healthy scratch. He is expected to skate on the fourth line, replacing Rem Pitlick in the lineup. Drouin can be a productive player, but he's had awful luck with injuries, and with the youth movement in full swing in Montreal, it looks like the former third-overall pick will struggle to get playing time for the Canadiens this season. He has started the final season of a six-year deal that has him carrying a $5.5 million cap hit, so having Drouin sitting in the press box is a bad situation for everybody involved.
