Jonathan Davis, Enmanuel De Jesus, Jeff Lindgren Outrighted
1 year agoThe Miami Marlins outrighted outfielder Jonathan Davis (knee) and pitchers Enmanuel De Jesus and Jeff Lindgren to Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday. Davis loses his roster spot after having season-ending surgery on his right knee back in early July. He has been running since close to the end of the regular season, though, so he should be ready to go for the start of spring training in 2024. The 31-year-old hit .244 (22-for-90) with two homers and 10 RBI in 34 games for the Fish in 2023. Davis, 26, gave up eight runs in 6 1/3 innings in just two appearances in the big leagues this year. Lindgren, 27, also wasn't very good in limited duty in the big leagues in 2023, allowing four runs in just seven innings over three appearances in Miami.
