6 years agoToronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas received the starting nod in Friday's tilt with the Brooklyn Nets and he did not disappoint as he finished with 24 points on the night. Valanciunas connected on 10 of 15 shots while adding eight rebounds with a block in 26 minutes of action. JV has netted 50 points in his last two games in just 44 total minutes and he may be moved back to the bench when the Raptors host the Bucks who start Brook Lopez who spends most of his night on the perimeter which is not an ideal matchup for the Lithuanian big man.--Gianni Costantiello
