Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas got the start at center for the Raptors on Friday night to match up with DeAndre Jordan. JV had a pretty good scoring game too, with 17 points, but wasn't all that efficient, hitting on just 7-of-16 shot attempts. He also added eight rebounds, one assist, and one steal, in 22 minutes of work. Head coach Nick Nurse continued to rotate his starting centers based on matchups, with Valanciunas, tasked with slowing down Jordan. He did a solid job of that and had a team-high +12 in his minutes. Whether starting or off the bench, Valanciunas will contribute solidly in field goal percentage, rebounds, and points, with the occasional three-pointer. Keep posted to rotoballer.com to see who Nurse starts against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night, but owners should have no fear playing Valanciunas if he starts or comes off the bench.--Daniel Brodie
