6 years agoToronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas returned to his bench role for matchup purposes and was quiet in the 104-99 loss to the Bucks on Sunday. Valanciunas registered six points on just 2-for-8 shooting while adding five rebounds without any other stats in just 13 minutes of action. JV had put up 25.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in his previous two outings but with the Bucks starting long-range bomber Brook Lopez, he was a better matchup for Serge Ibaka. JV and Ibaka will continue rotating the starting center spot and we should see JV bounce back from this rough night.--Gianni Costantiello
