Jon Rahm Is Simply Too Expensive At Fortinet
3 years agoAt $12,100 on DraftKings, Jon Rahm is the highest-priced golfer on the slate by over $1,000. There is no denying that Rahm is the best player in this field, but unless fantasy managers are convinced that the recent U.S. Open champion will win this tournament, he makes very little sense to deploy at this price and sky-high projected ownership. The advantage that elite ball-strikers have at a course like Silverado, where every single player will have a wedge in their hands on over 60% of the holes, is completely mitigated. For the record, Rahm's ball-striking has not even been that impressive lately, as he has lost strokes on approach in back-to-back starts.
