6 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jon Lester faced a tough assignment Sunday versus Philadelphia as he was facing one of the leading candidates for the National League Cy Young. Early on, Lester faced a few jams while Nola cruised. Ultimately, Lester kept putting up zeros while the Cubs hitters managed to drive a few balls into the stands. Lester would go six innings allowing no runs and striking out seven. He would earn the victory to move his season line to 15-5 with a 3.53 ERA. Lester is a step below the fantasy elite pitchers but he should be owned in virtually every league he is eligible in.--Jamie Mellor
