7 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jon Jay smacked his first extra-base hit of the season on Sunday when he tripled home the team's only run. Jay is serving his role as a leadoff guy well so far, hitting .292 with a gaudy on-base percentage of .433. However, it's still been the definition of a pretty empty average from a fantasy perspective, as he's only got one extra-base hit and one stolen base so far. Jay's OBP is in for a correction, but even if he keeps a strong average or OBP this season, owners can really only expect help in that one category.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
