1 year agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jon Gray (forearm) has been added to the team's ALCS roster. Gray was placed on the 15-day injured list back on September 29 with forearm irritation but the goal but he's on track to pitch in the Championship Series, which starts on Sunday in Houston. Jordan Montgomery is set to start Game 1 for Texas while Nathan Eovaldi will take the mound for Game 2. Max Scherzer (shoulder) was also added to the ALCS roster and he would be the presumptive starter for Game 3, so in all likelihood, Gray will work out of the bullpen in this series.
