Jon Gray Dealing With Forearm Tightness
3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Jon Gray (forearm) was forced to exit Saturday's start against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to right forearm tightness. Rockies manager Bud Black told the press that the injury was near Gray's elbow, but that it was located on the lateral side of his arm, away from the UCL. This could be good news for Gray, suggesting he may have avoided something severe. However, he will undergo further tests on Sunday and in the coming days. Gray only lasted two innings on Saturday before exiting. He allowed two hits, three walks and one earned run while striking out two. As of now, his next start is scheduled for Thursday against the Atlanta Braves.
