Jon Berti Homers, Steals Two Bases Monday
2 years agoMiami Marlins utilityman Jon Berti had a great offensive game in Monday's 10-3 win over the Cubs. Berti went 3-for-5 with two singles, a solo home run, two RBI, and two stolen bases. The 32-year-old has provided most of his fantasy value in the form of speed and versatility, slashing .249/.335/.351 with four HR, 26 RBI, and 36 stolen bases in 346 plate appearances. This limits Berti's overall fantasy value, particularly in points leagues. However, he is rostered in just 51 percent of leagues, so he may be available for fantasy managers in roto leagues looking to make a late push for steals.
