4 years agoMiami Marlins infielder/outfielder Jon Berti hit his first home run of the season on Monday, helping the Marlins to an 11-8 win over the Washington Nationals. Berti started in the leadoff spot, playing centerfield. He went 2-for-5 with a walk, a run scored, and two RBI. Berti has played all over the field for the Marlins, and he's now hitting .267 with a .698 OPS. His positional versatility makes him a very valuable big league player, but not much more than a utility filler on most fantasy rosters.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
