Johnny Cueto Exits Rehab Start On Saturday
2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Johnny Cueto (biceps) exited his rehab start for Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday. The 37-year-old took a spill while attempting to make a play at first base in the third inning, resulting in a lower-body injury. Fortunately, he left the field on his own. Cueto has appeared in only one game for the Marlins in 2023. However, he became bothered by lingering biceps tightness in that one and has been on the shelf ever since. Hopefully, Saturday's departure was precautionary and won't cause him any setbacks.
