John Wall Scores Game-High 31 Points In Losing Effort
4 years agoHouston Rockets point guard John Wall shot brick after brick from downtown in Wednesday's loss to Indiana, but still came away with a game-high 31 points. He was 0-for-7 from downtown but 12-for-28 from the field and 7-for-9 at the free-throw line. The veteran added nine assists to his line with three rebounds, two blocks and one steal. Wall threw the ball away three times in 36 minutes. The Rockets can't get into the win column no matter what they try, but Wall is enjoying a fine scoring burst right now with three 30-point efforts in his past four games. He'll be hunting for another one Friday night against Denver, although the Nuggets don't tend to give up many points to opposing points guards.
