John Wall Drops Season-High 32 Points
4 years agoHouston Rockets guard John Wall dropped a season-high 32 points in a losing effort to the Cavaliers on Monday. Not only did Wall play the second half of a back-to-back for the first time this season, but he played a whopping 40 minutes to boot- his highest total in any game this year- rounding out his line with five assists, three boards, one three-pointer, a block, and a steal. In many ways, it was one of his better games of the season- he was aggressive in getting to the basket, as evidenced by his 9-for-12 shooting from the line- both marks are season-highs. It was nice to see Wall get back on track after a few shaky shooting performances, and he'll have a good chance of carrying that momentum into the All-Star break in Wednesday's matchup with Brooklyn. It's a battle of two of the fastest-paced teams in the league.
