1 year agoToronto Maple Leafs left wing Matthew Knies has received big praise from team captain John Tavares. "Sky's the limit for him," Tavares said of Knies. "Really impressed with the way he came in." Knies joined the Maple Leafs late last season from the University of Minnesota. Together with the playoffs, he made only 10 appearances with the team, but Tavares has apparently seen enough to predict a big future for the Phoenix-born winger. "He's got great hands, great touch, great touches with the puck, make solid plays," Tavares added. "He's a huge home run for us. His potential's through the roof." Knies is definitely a player fantasy managers should keep their eye on, although he is facing a lot of competition for a top-six spot in Toronto.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
