1 year agoBoston Red Sox right-hander John Schreiber (shoulder) made another minor-league rehab appearance on Sunday for Triple-A Worcester, and manager Alex Cora said he will work on back-to-back days in the minors, most likely on Wednesday and Thursday. Schreiber is expected to return from the injured list on Sunday against the New York Mets or next Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves. He's been one of the team's best setup relievers the last two seasons, so getting him back will be a big boost to Boston's bullpen. The 29-year-old had his first eight big-league saves in 2022 and was sporting a career-low 2.12 ERA (3.17 FIP), 1.29 WHIP, eight walks and 21 strikeouts in 17 relief innings before his injury this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
