2 weeks agoMinnesota Vikings kicker John Parker Romo will make his season debut this Sunday when Minnesota travels to EverBank Stadium to square off against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Vikings placed rookie kicker Will Reichard (quad) on injured reserve earlier this week after missing his first two career attempts in Week 9's 21-13 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Romo -- who spent the offseason with Minnesota -- was signed by the team this past Tuesday and is now primed to take over kicking duties, with Reichard set to miss at least four contests. The 27-year-old spent 2023 in the XFL, drilling 17-of-19 field goal attempts for the San Antonio Brahmas. Still, he won't be a viable fantasy option until he proves his salt on an NFL field.
