Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman John Ludvig has been diagnosed with a concussion and will be out indefinitely. The 23-year-old made his NHL debut Tuesday versus Dallas but had to exit the game in the middle of the second period after getting hurt in a collision with Dallas forward Radek Faksa. Ludvig appeared to have been briefly unconscious and lay motionless on the ice for several minutes. He skated on the third defensive pairing in his debut. Chad Ruhwedel took over Ludvig's spot in Wednesday's practice and appears poised to hop into the lineup for Thursday's matchup against the red-hot Avalanche.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
