7 months agoMemphis Grizzlies guard John Konchar (heel) will not suit up for Friday's contest against the Los Angeles Lakers. The 28-year-old has not played since March 22 and this will be his tenth straight game he will be out as he tries to recover from plantar fasciitis in his right heel. There are only two games left on the schedule for the injury-plagued Grizzlies, and there is a good chance Konchar will not play again this year. Memphis will likely have a tight rotation of young players to close out the season, including GG Jackson II, Jake LaRavia, and Scotty Pippen Jr.--Dave Goldsholl - RotoBaller
