8 months agoMemphis Grizzlies guard John Konchar (heel) will not play in Friday's game versus the Detroit Pistons. He will miss his sixth straight game as he continues to be hampered by plantar fasciitis in his right heel. Konchar last played against the Spurs on March 22, and it is unclear when he will return to action. Injuries are nothing new for the Grizzlies this season, and Friday will be another tough game, as Desmond Bane (back), Jaren Jackson Jr. (quadriceps), and Santi Aldama (foot) are already ruled out for Friday, too. Memphis will likely continue to count on Jake LaRavia and GG Jackson II to take on prominent roles.--Dave Goldsholl - RotoBaller
