John Klingberg Not Playing On Tuesday
32 seconds agoEdmonton Oilers defenseman John Klingberg (undisclosed) will not be in the starting lineup on Tuesday evening when the Oilers face the Utah Hockey Club. Klingberg has missed the previous six contests due to this injury. As a result, Troy Stretcher will remain in the starting lineup. Before sustaining this injury, Klingberg tallied four points (one goal) across five contests. During this stretch, Klingberg logged 12 shots on goal with three hits and nine blocked shots. Through 10 games this season, the 32-year-old has found the back of the net just one time and added three helpers. During the 2023 season, Klingberg tallied a similar five points over 14 NHL contests. When Klingberg is cleared to return to the starting lineup, he will not carry any fantasy value, given his lack of scoring upside.
