John Gilmour On Top Power Play For Rangers
7 years agoNew York Rangers rookie defenseman John Gilmour (0 percent owned in Yahoo! leagues) has been playing on the top power-play unit since the departure of former captain Ryan McDonagh. In 11 games this season, the 24-year-old has only two points (both goals) but has fired an impressive 34 shots in that span. Before the call-up, Gilmore racked up 26 points in 44 games with their AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack, and is worth keeping an eye on, as his even-strength time on ice keeps climbing as well.
