John Gant Can't Finish The Fifth Inning On Thursday
4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher John Gant took the loss on Thursday, dropping his record to 2-3. Gant didn't have much control in this one, as he threw 4 1/3 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and six walks while striking out five. He needed 98 pitches and threw just 57 of them for strikes. He'll take a solid 2.15 ERA into his next start, which should come against the Milwaukee Brewers.
