John Brown Appears Set For Starting Role In Buffalo
5 years agoThe Buffalo Bills invested in their receiving core this offseason by adding both John Brown and Cole Beasley via free agency. The Bills signed Brown to a 3-year, $27 million contract and at this stage, the former Cardinal and Raven looks to be almost a sure thing as one of the team's starting outside receivers. Brown had a great first half of 2019 with the Ravens, but understandably struggled once the team switched quarterbacks from Joe Flacco to Lamar Jackson. Zay Jones and Robert Foster also figure to be in the mix at outside receiver for the Bills, but neither has shown the versatility that Brown has showcased in his five NFL seasons. Beasley, meanwhile, will be locked in at the slot. Brown is a solid late sleeper target in drafts.
