Johan Camargo To Become Super-Utility Player
6 years agoAtlanta Braves third baseman Johan Camargo will become a super-utility player in 2019 after the club signed Josh Donaldson to a one-year deal on Monday. Camargo already has experience at second base, shortstop and third base and the plan is for him to work out at first base and possibly the corner outfield spots in spring training to continue getting him regular at-bats. Camargo was underrated as the team's regular third baseman in 2018, hitting .272/.349/.457 with 19 home runs and 76 RBI in 134 games. However, he'll lose most of his fantasy appeal heading into next year without a set position or regular playing time.
