2 years agoMiami Marlins infielder Joey Wendle isn't in the team's lineup for a Wednesday matchup with the Oakland Athletics and left-hander Cole Irvin. The 32-year-old is batting .248 with a .289 on-base percentage, two home runs, and a pair of stolen bases in 273 plate appearances in his first season with the Marlins. Jon Berti will step in at third base and hit leadoff while Charles Leblanc is starting at second base and batting seventh. Leblanc could be worth a look as a streaming option for fantasy managers in deeper leagues.
