Joey Votto Hits A Home Run In Minor-League Rehab Game
1 year agoCincinnati Reds first baseman/designated hitter Joey Votto (shoulder) went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored, two walks, and a strikeout in a minor league rehab game with Triple-A Louisville. The 39-year-old has been out all season while recovering from offseason shoulder surgery and still doesn't have a timetable to return to the Reds. It doesn't sound like they're in a rush to bring him back but it's nice to see him perform well at the dish.
