The shortstop has slashed .338/.392/.534 with 40 extra-base hits in 77 games this season. Ortiz is striking out at just an 18% clip and has chipped in 10 stolen bases to showcase a well-rounded profile. The 25-year-old saw a brief 15-game stint with the Orioles earlier in the year, hitting .212 with only one extra-base hit. While Ortiz could be in line for a promotion in the coming weeks, the crowded infield in Baltimore likely blocks him from consistent playing time. Ortiz is a prospect to keep an eye on for 2024, especially if he lands with an organization offering a clear path to playing time.--Steve Smith
