2 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman/designated hitter Joey Meneses is not in the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Colorado Rockies. The 30-year-old has gotten off to a sluggish start so this is probably just a day off to clear his head. After breaking out in the second half of 2022, Meneses is slashing just .216/.275/.297 with one RBI through 37 at-bats this season. Dominic Smith is starting at first base and Stone Garrett is filling in as designated hitter against Ryan Feltner and the Rockies.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
