Joey Logano Could Hang Around Again at Atlanta
3 years agoJoey Logano has a habit of just lurking around and then springing up out of almost nowhere. He has finished tenth or worse in three of his last four races but did contend for most of the Saturday Pocono race (ended up 7th leading 18 laps). The Team Penske driver has not finished worse than 17th since that dangerous crash at Talladega. While Logano may have the speed or grip some of the other drivers have, he can flat out drive a race car. The No. 22 has four wins in the last three years on intermediate tracks and ranks fifth with an average finishing position of 10.3. Though Atlanta has not been the kindest to Logano, he is still one that could find the path to contend on Sunday.
