Joey Gallo Continues To Sit Out
2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Joey Gallo (hamstring) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. The left-handed slugger has been sidelined since Sunday due to a hamstring issue. It doesn't sound like the Twins plan on placing Gallo on the injured list. Instead, they will continue to give him rest and hope it's a day-to-day issue. In the meantime, Alex Kirilloff will cover left field on Friday night while Kyle Garlick starts in right field versus right-hander Kevin Gausman.
