Joel Embiid's 34 Points Not Enough
4 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid did all he could in Game 2 by recording 22 points in the opening half and finishing the night with 34 points in the loss to the Celtics. Embiid was an efficient 11 of 21 from the floor and added 10 rebounds with three assists to go along with a single block in 34 minutes of action. Embiid came out quite aggressive in the first half before the Celtics made some changes, including getting Enes Kanter more involved on both ends to help slow down the big man. Either way, the 76ers are going to heavily rely on Embiid going forward with Ben Simmons (knee) sidelined, so keep firing him up in your lineups.
