1 year agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid had 21 points in the win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday evening, adding five rebounds, two blocks, and one steal. James Harden didn't suit up for this one, so Embiid struggled shooting the ball, going 3-for-12 from the field. Fortunately, he missed only one of his 15 tries from behind the charity stripe. The reigning MVP is coming off a dominant year and enters the 2023-24 campaign as a top fantasy option in preseason rankings. It's no secret that he plays better with Harden on the floor. However, even if Harden doesn't stay in Philadelphia, Embiid will remain productive.
