3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid scored a game-high 43 points during a 127-124 win versus the Charlotte Hornets on Monday. The 27-year-old shot an efficient 15-for-20 from the field, including 1-for-2 behind the arc, and 12-for-14 from the line. The Kansas product also posted 15 rebounds, seven assists, and a steal across 41 minutes. The monster performance was a welcomed sight for fantasy managers, as Embiid has been a mild disappointment to start the season, averaging less than 23 points while shooting only 41% from the field. Not all has been doom-and-gloom in the big man's fantasy profile, as he is averaging 11 boards, 4.2 assists, 1.4 triples, and 1.7 blocks per game. Embiid represents a buy-low option for a star-caliber player, but that window is rapidly closing as he returns to form.--Patrick Doris
