Joel Embiid Posts Second 30-Point Game Of The Season
5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid reached the 30-point mark for the second time this season, finishing Friday's loss to OKC with 31 points on 12-for-24 shooting. He had a superb 4-for-8 record from deep and added 12 rebounds to complete his sixth double-double of the year. The game went into overtime, so Embiid logged 38 minutes, which could lead to a lighter workload on Sunday against Cleveland. He's already missed four games this season, so the Sixers have to be careful with him. On paper, the matchup against the Cavs looks nice for Embiid, who already crushed it against them on Tuesday with a 27-point and 16-rebound performance.
