2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) had his injury officially deemed a sprained LCL and he may need to wear a brace during their second-round series as they await the winner of the Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks matchup. As of right now, it seems like he will still suit up for the first game of the series, but he won't be anywhere near 100 percent healthy for that game or the foreseeable future in the playoffs. While it's still better than not having the superstar big man at all, having a limited number-one option is going to make a potential matchup with the Celtics much more difficult.
