14 seconds agoAccording to Lisa Salters of ESPN and ABC, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) may need another surgery. While the organization hasn't reported this, it appears the 2023 NBA MVP is gearing up for another surgery to address a nagging left knee issue that has been ailing him for quite some time. It's unknown if and when a procedure could take place. But it appears the knee injury is more severe than initially believed. Embiid has only appeared in 15 games this season and was listed as questionable heading into Sunday's loss to the Detroit Pistons. For now, fantasy managers should expect occasional time off for Embiid, at least for the foreseeable future.
