Joel Embiid Feasts Against Washington
1 year agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid had a monster game against the Washington Wizards on Monday, needing just 31 minutes of action to rack up 48 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists in a blowout win. He added one steal and one block to his tally with 17-for-25 shooting from the field and a 14-for-14 effort at the line. It was a historical outing, as Embiid posted 29 points in the third quarter, which is a new Sixers record for most points scored by a player in a quarter. With the James Harden drama having left for L.A., Embiid can now fully focus on basketball, and he's picked up very good momentum with four consecutive double-doubles ahead of Wednesday's big matchup versus the Celtic.
