Joel Dahmen certainly makes some sense this week. He is coming off a seventh-place finish at the Barracuda Championship, and he has sustained a run of respectable ball-striking over the last few weeks. Over his last 36 rounds, the University of Washington product ranks 20th in opportunities gained, 22nd in birdies or better gained, and 12th in proximity from 175-200 yards. He thrives in birdie-fests, ranking 15th in this field in average strokes gained per round in easy scoring conditions. This year's Corales Punta Cana Resort and Club Championship winner is a suitable option this week. --Andy Lack
