6 years agoSan Jose Sharks center Joe Thornton scored a power-play goal in Saturday's heavy 6-2 loss to Ottawa. He made it 1-1 with his fourth goal of the season in the middle of the season period, but things just didn't work out for the team in the end. Joe Pavelski and Brent Burns picked up the assists. Barclay Goodrow also scored for the Sharks. Jumbo Joe ended a three-game point drought with the goal. His fantasy value has greatly dropped over the last couple of years following some serious knee issues. Thornton has only nine points in 18 games this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
