Joe Ryan Finished With His Rehab Assignment
1 year agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Joe Ryan (groin) is likely done with his minor-league rehab assignment and will make his next start in the big leagues, possibly sometime this weekend, according to Betsy Helfand of the Pioneer Press. The right-hander has been on the sideline since the beginning of August after suffering a groin issue and made just one start during his rehab with Triple-A St. Paul. Over 126 innings this season, Ryan owns a 4.43 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 29.1% strikeout rate, and 4.8% walk rate with a 9-8 record. The 27-year-old is better than his ERA shows, and fantasy managers should look forward to having him back in their rotation.
