Joe Ryan Diagnosed With Right Wrist Contusion
3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Joe Ryan (wrist) was hit in his right arm by a comebacker during his start against the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday. After the game, he was taken for X-rays, which returned negative, leading to a diagnosis of a right wrist contusion. This is great news for Ryan, who should have a good chance of making his next start against the Chicago Cubs next Tuesday. The 25-year-old has looked good over his first three MLB starts. He's gone 1-1 with a 2.12 ERA, a 0.53 WHIP and 7.0 K/BB.
